My name is Bernice and I am an English language coach based in Hamburg. I come from Belfast and have lived in London, Cambridge, Norwich, Berlin and Amsterdam.
After completing my CELTA in Berlin, I began teaching in Amsterdam in 2006 and have continued as a trainer since moving to Hamburg in 2007.
Teaching is about both understanding the needs of the learner and the way they best acquire knowledge. I am able to quickly gain a picture of my client's needs by listening carefully and asking the right questions.
I strive to build an atmosphere of trust and enjoy making complex ideas easier to understand.
